I can most closely be defined as a fiscal conservative.
My knowledge of politics is limited compared to many…but I’m learning. Knowledge of PoliCY is my duty as a citizen; observing PoliTICS is just down right entertaining. There’s a difference, you know.
I’m fairly involved with Georgia politics and currently serve on the Communications Committee for the Cobb County Republican Party.
Here are a few tidbits that will probably influence my posts:
- I was born and raised in Cobb County – even went to college here. Yes, I’ve traveled the world, but this is home. I have a lot of pride in where I grew up and still live.
- I put myself through school with no debt after I graduated although neither of my parents received a high school diploma. (Ma went back to school in her late 30s.) I wish 99% of the 99% would take an honest look in the mirror. It’s YOUR responsibility to upgrade yourself.
- I’m an engineer for an energy management company, so I like to check in on the Public Service Commission.
- I served as an officer for both the Atlanta Young Republicans and Cobb Young Republicans. I was the first AYR Women Director, and my sole purpose was to recruit young conservative women to the cause – you’re welcome, gentlemen.
